Old school battle routine...

This is an old routine i did from 2000 at a dj battle @ Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I'm like 30 Pounds lighter..LOL! I used parts of this routine in a DMC regional in D.C. which landed me in 2nd place. This was one of my last battles before i hung it up (competing). I started making beats shortly after this and focused most of my energy in creating music. I still cut on the regular and have gotten alot better since then. This joint just makes me laugh. Aaahh, the good ol' days! I'm gonna post a Better Beat Bureau team routine in a minute from the same night. Big up to my brother who hooked me up with this footage when we shot the commercial. I haven't seen it for years!

Geico commercial...

Aight, so this weekend my brother came through the crib to record a geico commercial for his youtube page. I helped tell the story by scratching and did a mini cut freestyle @ the end. Filipino..hooooooo!

This record right here is a straight banger! Back in like '03 i went to my homie Raw One's crib to work on some music and he was showin' me some of his records. I saw the filipino flag on the record and immediately gave it a spin. I remember him laughing, saying that i wouldnt find anything on it with all the tagalog(filipino language) on it, but my neck was snapping. I said, "nah, let me borrow this joint!" I banged out like a good 5 beats off this record! I really wanted to pay tribute to my filipino roots so i added some tagalog intros. I'm still in search for more filipino records so for my filipino heads, if your moms' or pops' got any old wax from the P.I., send em' my way! Here's a few beats from that record.
